Let's talk about identity.

Humans thrive on identifying with most anything, whether it's a meme, a generation (or micro-gen, like this xennial), or a self-help guru. We want to be a part of something meaningful.

But when your identity becomes tied to someone else’s message or brand, it becomes nearly impossible to question them, even when they’re wrong. And when they're wrong, you have to admit that you were too, and ooo that's hard for human egos to do.

We have all been wrong at some point. I went through many stages myself, if you listen to the podcast from the beginning you'll hear it. I admit I was wrong. I believed something at the time, that I no longer believe, Gasp, it happens. I'm still me. I'm still here.

Real spirituality isn’t about devotion. It's about sovereignty and discernment.

Remember, dear hitchhikers, you can learn from someone without turning them into your identity.

So how do you keep yourself grounded while being spiritual?

I believe and have always believed that spirituality exists to make our human lives better. If it wasn't that case, it wouldn't make any sense. Because if we believe spirituality, we believe that we're energy that exists past our human death. And so why? Why wouldn't we want to make our human life better? Because that's the purpose. That's the reason we're here. And so when I see people who want to escape their human lives. to believe in something spiritual in a way that makes their human life seem less. I don't know, exciting. Like they spend all their time channeling or talking to spirit or sharing downloads or, you know, talking about twin flames and all this stuff. And before I get too far, I've been through these stages. You can hear it in this podcast. This podcast is a, is a record of me going through each phase of my spiritual growth. Well, maybe not all of them, but from when I started recording, it's at least a year. So that's something. And so you can hear when I start to Flip and turn into a more grounded individual. And that doesn't mean that I don't believe all the things that I had said before, but it does mean I don't believe some of them. Because with more information, you change your mind. That's part of being a human. I think a lot of people have forgotten that. But so how do you ground yourself when you're spiritual? It requires. Acceptance of why humanity exists in general, and I believe that humanity exists so that we can experience our energy in a physical way. Because when we go to wherever we go, the energy field. We can't experience the physical properties of being human. And so if you spend your whole life wishing and hoping and using spirituality as a way to escape your human life, then you've come here for nothing. You have incarnated for nothing. Now, if you had shared, if you share what you know, that's a different story, right? But there are a lot of people out there sharing what they believe. And it may not necessarily be true, but you can't prove it, right. Your intuition and your discernment is the only thing that can prove it. But you can see this with the downfall of the guru. Like the spiritual guru, the self-help gurus, they're getting a lot of hate right now, rightfully so, because they're grifters, like. The idea of taking something and, and making it a quote unquote brand. And this is coming from someone with a marketing background. And Earth Decoded is my brand. Hitchhiker's Guide to Humanity is my brand. But I am not my brand, you know? I am not that I operate with that. And people that have made their identities or their names on those messages and that communication, they have to fall on their sword if they were to back track, you know? If Mel Robbins comes out and says I stole, let them from. I forgot her name. I stole it. It's not mine, but I. So I'm crediting the author. And. I take back doing that. It was wrong. It's a moral failing on my part, and I acknowledge that. Do you know how much more respect someone would have if they just did that? But no. She's going to ignore it. Avoid it. Double down. Whatever she's doing. And that's how you know that someone's brand is more important than their integrity. Your brand should never be. The most important part. It should always be you. And so I'm seeing this trend in spirituality with these people who make their name and make their. Their identities into a brand. And so when your identity is wrapped up in that, you can't be wrong. You can't walk it back. If you go back and you say, well, I used to channel, you know, name your deity or whatever, but I realize now that that's not actually what was happening. I've never seen anybody do that. I am willing to admit that some of the things that I may have said in the past were what I believed at the time, and that's why predictions are so dangerous. But if I have like I just did a video on TikTok about how I asked, I was practicing seeing things in my third eye because I've always had problems with that, seeing things, um, hearing, experiencing, being intuitive, you know, somatic stuff. Not a problem. But seeing, seeing has always been my, my least best. Claire. And so I was practicing and I said, okay, I said, just show me something about this election. And this was in this was November seventh of twenty twenty four. So the day after the election and I said, show me something. I and source Spirit, whatever you want to call them, showed me the Twin Towers in the United States if you're not from the United States. Um, and the second plane going into one of the Twin towers. The right one or I can't remember. And Trump was in front of it with his thumbs up. That was it. That was the whole thing. And I said, what the hell was that? I said, nine over eleven already took place. And I was like, what? Uh, and I texted my friend and I was like, I had this vision. And we both kind of were like, I don't know what it means. It probably means this, you know? And now, as of yesterday, it finally dawned on me what it was about. It was about all of this that's happening now that he really doesn't care. He's gonna he's gonna let us have our nine over eleven again and not care about it. And so I interpreted that at the time. Like I didn't know. I mean, you could guess, but I don't like to do that. Really. And so I just had that in my mind. But now it makes sense. And I got another message. The emperor has no clothes. And then I saw it everywhere after I got the message. So there are things that I've received knowing that it did not come from me, That I believe and I believed. And for me, because of my astrological makeup and just my personality, I like to see evidence. And so. My spirit team shows me evidence so that I know that that's valid. And a lot of people don't need that evidence. And that's fine. It does not mean that what they're saying and doing isn't coming from an energy source. Which is why intuition and discernment are so important. But I, I believe that anybody who can't admit that they were wrong or that this happened or this happened is a dangerous person to listen to. It seems so obvious and so logical to me, but yet a lot of these people have tons of money and tons of followers and tons of worshippers that will defend them to the ends of the earth. And it's like, what are you defending? And that's because their identities, their followers, their identities are now wrapped up into this brand. Well, I've always loved Mel Robbins, so I'm gonna defend her. And, you know, I know her. She's my guru. She she helped me through whatever time. And that can still exist without you having your identity wrapped in it. Her words could have helped you, and that's fine. But it doesn't mean that she's always right and it doesn't mean that she was even right then. What it means is at that point in time, those words helped you. The end. We spend so much time stroking our egos that we forget that the information coming in, it's still coming from a human, and that human may be wrong, that human may be. It's okay to use the information and not the human. Is that that? Does that even make sense? I don't know if that makes sense. So. As we descend into this, whatever's next. And these and celebrities and gurus and self-help people and, and spiritual charlatans and all of these people start to get exposed. For. You know, not being as wise as they appear. We need to re-evaluate. What we believe truly. I think it's vitally important that every human, each and every one of us, goes inside. And says, what is it that I believe without my identity being wrapped up in some guru or some something I was told as a kid or whatever? What is it that I believe based on the information that my intuition, my discernment has been showing me and telling me everybody has a spirit team. They're looking out for you. So if you ask, just ask. What is it that I'm here for? What is it that you want me to know? And you don't need tarot cards. You don't need anything because they'll show you how you need to be shown. And whether it's real or not is. It's immaterial. It's information coming from an energy source. You take it in and you use it how you want. Just don't wrap your identity into that. Don't say this brand. This person's brand is my brand. That's how Magga got so warped. They put their identity into a brand. Trump, whatever. And they, they they're walking it back now. But for many, many years, they lived that life. I'm going to defend him. I'm gonna storm the Capitol building, for God's sake. They stormed the Capitol building in his name. That is the danger of having your identity wrapped up in a brand. That is the danger of that. Because you're willing to go to the ends of the earth for people you don't even know. Celebrities don't know you either. You don't need to defend them. They're just humans and many of them are looking like walking corpse these days. Like, I barely recognize celebrities anymore because of all the work they're getting done. It's very disturbing. It's like something out of a sci fi novel. Like the uglies by, um. Scott. Can't remember his last name. I don't even know if it's Scott. The uglies book series. You know, it's like we're living it. And this is not to say that anyone who gets work done is that. That's wrong. I'm not gonna judge anyone for that. But when you start looking like a walking corpse. I'm gonna. I'm gonna say something because there's something very sick about that. And celebrities, whether they like it or not, are in the public eye and have influence. And you have to take that responsibility seriously. So. While that was a pivot, um. So just. Stay in your piece as best you can. Be aware of your surroundings. Stop at least once or twice a day and just be somewhere without any sound or any like distraction and just be with yourself. It sounds so cliché, but it is so helpful. Turn the TV off just like Kendrick Lamar. Turn the TV off. Turn the TV off. Yeah, I'm not going to do that. Okay. Until next time. Peace and love to you
