The Hitchhiker's Guide to: Soul Contracts - January 24, 2025

Hello and welcome to The Hitchhiker's Guide to Humanity. My name is Erica and I am your host. If you have not listened to the first episode where I describe Earth School in a very rambly ADHD type of way, go on and listen to it. Basically, this is a podcast where I talk about high level information that I glean directly from the source as a psychic, as an intuitive, as a healer, and a channel for the source. 

Today's episode we will be talking about soul contracts. Each episode, I'm going to try to break down something in particular. But if there is something that you want to know about that you want me to dive deeper in use that text in whatever service you're using, there should be a line that says, Text us. US is really just me, but that's fine. 

Okay. So contracts. So when I first learned about soul contracts was when I had my heart broken. Yes. Oh, cue the violins. I. I had loved and lost like many before me. And I asked myself, why did this happen? Why must I suffer so greatly for putting my heart out to be smashed once again? Yes, I'm a writer, too. So sometimes I will get dramatic That's just how things are. Okay. My dear humans, this is what Earth School is about. If you think of it like school, whatever country you're in, you have some sort of learning that's done before you can graduate to the next level. And Earth School is no different. Now people will call Earth School different things in different spiritual communities or maybe religious communities. But I'm calling it Earth School because it's really about learning lessons. Right? So social contracts happen. When you basically sign on the dotted line, your higher self says, Hey, I want this particular thing to happen. I want it with these people so that I can learn the lesson in the way that I need to learn the lesson. And you have, I would guess, many of them. This is my belief only. 

Again, I'm going to preface everything by saying to use your own intuition and only take what resonates with you. Because even though I'm getting this information and I'm sharing it, a lot of stuff can get lost in translation, if you know what I mean. So I just want to throw that in there before we get too far into this. So when your heart breaks and you feel that familiar pang of regret, the shame, the guilt, the purpose of those emotions is to explore them and figure out why you hurt, why you put yourself through that pain when your intuition knows and tries to tell you what's wrong. But we don't listen, do we? Oh, no, we don't. We just keep going and trying again, thinking that this time it will work out, even though we're doing the same thing. Oh my dear humans, we instead think something is wrong with us, that we are defective, unlovable, broken. But none of that is true. Every human on this planet has a purpose for being here, whether it's a lesson to be learned or a contract to execute. Or karmic debt to pay off. We are here for a reason and it will be painful sometimes, especially when we don't learn those lessons. They come back around like a morbid merry go round, spinning and spinning away while we sit there and waste away not learning our lessons. But it doesn't always have to be like that. 

Okay, I'm telling you, we are infinite beings. We are made of energy and light. We have magic inside. But our egos and our emotions, they mask that. They tell us we're not capable. They tell us we're not meant to have everything we want unless we suffer for it, unless we break ourselves and our hearts for it. But once you realize why this is all happening, you can transmute your energy into something beautiful, magical, transcendent. Creation is magic manifested. It's unique. And it's the true expression of being human. Whether you create another human, a piece of art music, or you discover a hidden relic underground, or maybe you create efficiency in your job. It doesn't matter what you create. It's about expressing yourself and accepting that all humans are flawed. And that is by design. Our social contracts keep us fucking up our lives. I mean, and we do it so beautifully. Karmic debt keeps us fucking up our lives. The lessons we learn are the reason we're here. That is the human experience. So there is no failure. There are no broken people. I know there are people who have used their egos and freewill to become a shell of a person. Those of us in America are definitely seeing that right now. We're experiencing a lot of that, unfortunately. 

But there is light in most of us. We only need to seek it out. Humans are beautiful. Go over to this young shoe a.k.a red note if you've never heard of it and you will see the Chinese, British, Canadian and Americans and all these other countries learning and talking about each other's cultures. It's one of the most beautiful experiences I've witnessed. It has brought me to tears multiple times. The beauty of humanity can be seen if you look for it. It proved to me that we are a collective, we are one, and we have the power to overcome what we perceive as the boxes that others put us in. So how does this relate to feeling like you've broke your heart. Right. Let's go back to what we were talking about. 

The thing that we should learn about love is that it is technically not an emotion. It is a concept full of different emotions. Trying to explain it with one word doesn't make sense. It doesn't change how it feels to lose it, though. But you don't really lose it because love is the default. Oh, God, I can hear you now, Erica. That's so corny how the hell is. Love the default. Please stop blowing sunshine up my ass. No, that is why I'm here. Is literally my soul mission to blow sunshine up your ass. Okay. You don't lose it. It's our North Star. It's a reason for getting up in the morning. Love is how we. You're right. I do sound like sunshine. It's. It's okay. You know, in these dark times that we are living in, we could all use someone to blow sunshine up our damn asses. So if you're still here with me and you're listening, then that's why you want a little sunshine in your ass. Oh, okay. Well, that went somewhere I didn't. Anyways, love is how we create. It's how we connect. It is the thread that runs through us all. We are the same. A hybrid of angels and stars, seeds and whatever. Soul or combination of souls. Your higher self chose to put into your contracts for you to learn the lesson that you're meant here to learn. I know you're asking me. How can it be that simple, Erica? It's not. Obviously, it's very complicated. But that is why I am here. To help you uncomplicate all this. So that you can reach your highest vibration and lift up the world with your light. But a lot is happening right now in the world, that is bringing everyone to a point where you can't really keep your eyes closed anymore to to what is darker. That's going on. But my dear humans. It doesn't have to be. I know that sometimes it feels helpless, like there's nothing that you can do, especially when the powers that be are taking all of the power. But they don't actually have it. There are a few people. Few, not very many. And everyone has the ability to use their magic, their energy and their light and direct it away from these egomaniac dictator. You know, people. Who are not acting like real humans and love is definitely not their default. Let's just call it what it is. But our light can shine regardless. And the more of us that do this, the more of us that take the time. Even if it's 5 minutes and meditate and get to know yourself. Even if it's. Painting a picture. You don't have to be a good painter. I just started painting. I'm not that good, but I tried it and it's kind of fun, right? Write a poem. Tell a story. I started this podcast. I don't know anything about podcasting. I had to research it. I had to, you know, but it's fun and it is my mission here. I was called to do this. The universe spirit. My spirit guides. They called me to do this. I am meant to do this. And you can find out what you are meant to do here because we all have soul purposes. And it's not to go work for like 50, 80 hours a frickin week. And go home and Be so tired that you don't even find your joy anymore. That is a facade of capitalism. That is a facade of of bullshit that these power hungry egomaniacs have. Said that we had to do. But I am telling you as a spiritual being who has access and by the way, you have access too to the universe, to spirit. Spirit guides. You can do exactly what I'm doing. You can access all of that. You just have to get the crud out of your system and your ego in the back seat of your car instead of driving. That is how it's done. 

What will that do if I find my joy? If I live my authentic life. If I figure out what my soul purpose is here. It. It helps. When we use our energy, when we raise our vibrations, it helps. It helps the energy of the entire world go up. That is what it does. We have been cloaked in this dark energy. I won't say low vibe because low vibe is different, but like this dark energy that says that we are. Not supposed to be who we are, that somehow our fellow human is a thing. And not a human. We see each other as things. Sometimes we forget there's a human behind that, that face. And they want us to forget that. They want to separate us. That is what oligarchs do. And I don't mean to get all political, but, you know, if you know me and you probably don't. That's just how I am. I'm also a justice warrior. That is who I was in the past. And it's who I am here. And when I tell you I'm doing this to give you the keys to your own heart, to your own light, and to your own magic. I don't have that key. That key is in your hand. You need to use it. Go find your joy. What have you always wanted to do? What have you always wanted to create? Go do it. 

Are there people that you were looking at like things talk to them as a human? I spent a lot of my life living in the black and white ok seeing things as black and white, but they're not. And the way that you can get past that is seeing things from a high level. Right? This goes back to soul contracts. Even the orange one himself has a soul contract to be an agent of chaos or whatever the hell he's doing out there. There's still a human in there somewhere. It's somewhere in there. They just took a, I don't know, a very wrong turn at Albuquerque. And if you got that reference, you are probably old like me. 

Fight back. Raise your vibration. Find your joy. Be authentically you. Let's get rid of that shame. Get rid of it. The guilt. It's not necessary because everything that you experience has been planned out for you. Now we still have free will, but you always go back to the path that you're supposed to be on, the destiny and the fate that you always go back to, that your spirit guides will always guide you back, whether you know it or not. There are no coincidences. So if you ever want to know what soul contracts you have. Take a look at your life and the people in them. Take a look at them objectively. Who has caused you to grow the most? Who has broken your heart? Think about the fact that there were two people in that relationship that were learning lessons. Right. I'm sure that the other person had their heart broken, too. That's how it goes when you share your hearts with someone. That's a lesson. It was planned your higher selves. Both of you said together. Hey. Yeah, we got to learn this, so why don't we team up? I know that sounds morbid. Even the darkest moments of your life were people that you put there for reasons. And you don't know if it's even your reason, right? Because the way that soul contracts work. You also play roles in someone else's lesson. So sometimes. Just one thing you do. Will affect somebody else and send them on their path. It's like a chess board with chess pieces. And so if you look at it like that, it's a little less scary. And you feel a little more of humanity, right? And you get to look at people as if they're human and not things.
